Mark Parrish, and Brother of the Phin, was saluted by the Nashville Predators and their full house crowd during the military tribute. Mark served as a Torpedoman's Mate aboard USS Growler in the Pacific in WWII on combat war patrols against the Japanese Navy, including the patrol during which the Captain, Howard W. Gilmore, earned the Medal of Honor for the actions that cost him his life in a night surface attack against a Japanese convoy. Mark was one of the crewmen who sailed the damaged Growler back to Australia for repairs and a return to the fight. Well done, sailor.
Thanks Vinny for making this happen and to Pat for the write up! Great job guys.
